Commencement means “Beginning”. This Thursday (Aug. 1st) one - TopicsExpress

Commencement means “Beginning”. This Thursday (Aug. 1st) one of my sons (Quinton Williams) along with 100% of his classmates and soon to be colleagues will be graduating from “The year up (Puget Sound) program”. The Seattle year-up program is a one year nonprofit post high school (IT) training school with several campuses all over our country. Our campus is located right here within our Belltown community neighborhood … Now you know why you’ve seen so many young people early in the morning or at the business person’s 5: pm dressed sharp as a tack walking through our community, it’s because a lot of them were and are attending the school that has a “Dress for success” attire code and now they are forever Alumni of Belltown via “The year up program” or visa-verse. 100% of the schools graduates get employment working in their field of study and some will be taking their acquired skills to other states and places around the world. Unfortunately the ceremony is at full capacity so there will not be any available seats in the hall; it is going to be held Thursday, August 1st at 3: pm at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Send your support and encouragement to the students as they embark on another beginning in their lives, showing them that their parents and teachers aren’t the only ones that are proud of their accomplishment and send them forward with life’s best wishes and prayers. I’d like to make a reminding poster of your comments to hang on the wall and if you would like to send a poem or kind words of inspiration, post them on face book and/or send them to my email- paridonwilliams@gmail. A lot of people give quotes from famous and influential people and a step up from that is nearly impossible but I have one for my son and all of the graduates. “You are my Son with whom I am well pleased” -Mathew 3:17~God. With my sincerest love, admiration, and appreciation ~Paridon
