Comment from a fan of the page: Single policemen are disliked because their organization is disliked. if there was an option of not paying for the police services by the ones who dislike it some frustration would have gone away. instead you pay for being harassed with no right to defend yourself - try to resist and youll be killed. if there were a free market for policing services there would not be any hatred at all - private road or areas with guard of bad fame would be avoided and the guards themselves eventually fired and replaced with polite and still professional ones. if you are a victim and your firm doesnt help you, ignore you, is repeatedly failing you - youve got an alternative of withdrawing your money and going to a competition. it is a widely known truth that a monopoly would always lower quality and hike up costs, at the same time having none or only little willingness to improve - if there is no competition and your clients are stuck with you forever, why bother?
