Comment of the Day: A very sad, sad accident regardless of whether or not the couple had been traversing the world on bike. But there is, considering the situation, perhaps too leading a headline. There is not much doubt that the great majority of readers will think --- given the very short story/explanation (i.e., driver lost control) will be given short shrift. What this sort of headline rather thoughtlessly does is stimulate unwarranted prejudice. The Daily Mail, in any case, is hardly a news source to emulate. Second, what does this have to do with Chiang Mai? You are, by your banner, supposed to be Chiang Mai City News. So, understanding that there is no clearcut line about what is pertinent to Chiang Mai and what is not, I suggest that editorially you still attend MUCH better to what is relevant and needed journalistically in Chiang Mai.
