States will get taxes from the individuals and you expect them to say no to the new revenue? I dont think you thought about your nonsense very much. KTF Response: Nonsense? Really? The States already receive taxes from all forms of immigration through sales and employment, but there is more to it. Reagan used executive order to stop the return of illegal aliens to their country of origin without their consent, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 extended amnesty to anyone who had been here 6 years or longer, and Bush 1 used executive order to unconstitutionally grant amnesty to millions of children of those given amnesty by the IRCA. If history has proven anything, it has proven that the States will be forced --forced-- to provide tax payer funded welfare to these individuals, and it will be a drag on the budget of every single State. In Texas alone, the cost of dealing with illegal aliens has risen from 8 to over 12 billion dollars in just the last 4 years. And one other aspect that is just as important is this: We are importing another culture, and destroying our own. Example: Russians dont want Texans moving there and trying to turn it into Texas, any more than Texans want Russians moving here and trying to turn it into Russia. (Texas is interchangeable with any State in this example) If you believe there will be no negative monetary or cultural impact on the States from this, you are the one suffering from nonsense.
