Commentary: I was talking with my sister the other day - she commented that she is just not as open as me on social media. I respect that; but I think it was perfectly designed for someone like me - laugh. It allows one to share - whatever they choose, whenever they choose, however they choose - or not. People can choose to read it or not. For me, Ive always loved communication - whether its the written word, engaging another in conversation or through art - dance, photography, painting etc. My philosophy is that were all human, none of us getting out alive, and we can learn from one another, lift one another or use social media as idle entertainment. Its all good. Tonight, Im feeling blessed. So many of you lifted me and mine up in so many ways - its been humbling. At one point. I will unabashedly admit I was ready to crack from the burden I was feeling. We all have our threshold. I was close to mine. Knowing so many who prayed and reached out truly carried me through. I am appreciative and more than happy to reciprocate. Currently, the weather in these parts is partly sunny. Caring people there for me during the thunderstorm... The calls, the cards, the prayers, the gifts, the acts of service and willingness to help- nothing short of amazing!!! Its been said, ask and you shall receive - blessings abound! I think its important to convey that McKenna is on the mend, my sister is bringing my Dad back home tomorrow, we are getting situated in our new home and I am looking forward to a normal busy life- pursuing my passion- photography and gulping life and all it has to offer. Amazing how, having McKenna come through that surgery with positive results and my Dad like a cat with 29 lives has calmed me. I appreciate the concern, those in my community who have offered to help - but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Im now in a good place- or getting there. Ive weathered the storm. Life is good. Simply said, thank you! Back to normal bedlam. yep! Ive got this! Blue skies and sunshine!
