Commenting on an article in LiveScience.dom, Society is Doomed, Scientists claim by Mark Lallanilla. Answering to a commenter that dubbed the article as Communist/National Socialism: Komila, then, illustrate us, how do you think the Roman Empire, the Greek Empire, the Egiptian Empire, the Persian Empire and, more recently, the Spanish Empire and the English Empire declined? Dont you think that 1% of the population controlling most of the resources is non democratic and non Christian? Take for example Bill Gates: he had 90 billion dollars and he generously donated 50 billion for health investigation. He is now back to the first position as the richest man on Earth. The question is: Is he Robinson Crusoe living in an isolated island by himself or had we all bought his products to make him rich? Did he develop in an isolated island or did he grow up in a society built by workers where he found streets, houses, schools, policemen, electricity, all kind of services provided by the working people? Should have him share his wealth with his fellow citizens as he did? Of course! He is that rich thanks not only to his talent, hardworking and passion but also to the fact that he lives in a society where we all contributed to his wealth. Nobody needs 90 billion dollars to live a decent life: the excess fortune should be return to society by law, not having to wait for the charity of the rich to payback to society. We need a more fair wealth distribution system as we all contribute to it, actually the commoners in society are the base of any wealth.
