Commie rant, thanks in advance edition. In a bit less than two hours Ill be 53. Last year I got a huge number of birthday wishes, and I took the time to like and say thanks for every one of them. That will continue if, after 10 months of ranting, anyone is still wishing me a happy anything. So Im going to try one of those in lieu of flowers, the family asks kind of things. Why not make Sept. 24th really special by posting a rant on your own timeline, and sharing it on mine? Or scroll through my posts, and re-post one you like (yes, thanks to FB, youll probably not have an easy time with that, as youll have to click all those more posts from (date range) thingies, etc. As Arlo Guthrie (whom Im watching in last years Thanksgiving concert with Pete Seeger, Petes last, on YouTube right now) sang in Alices Restaurant, they may think its a movement. If you get it done by sundown, youll have the rest of the night for apples and honey with your family. Shanah tovah, and peace and justice to everyone, everywhere on Earth, and the Earth itself.
