Commissioner Tarence Maddox KCK District 4 gave me a phone call around 8 p.m. this evening that literally changed my life. He called to congratulate me on winning the August 5th Committeeman race for Precinct 5 of Ward 2 in Wyandotte County! Id like to first off thank The Most High for blessing me with brothers like Commissioner Maddox and sisters like Committeewoman Rashanda Rhodes who have inspired me into proving that my generation can stand up and make a difference in this world for the peoples sake! I also thank The Most High for all the VOTERS who showed up on election day and cast their ballots in my favor. I am NOTHING without them. This election was not about me or anybody who ran. Its about the WYCO voters who depend on responsible governance, economic consistency, and political stability for the betterment of their communities. Many thanks to the Commissioners and staff of the Wyandotte County Election Office for appointing me to volunteer my time by working hard for the great cause of democracy. Ive learned a lot from the various jobs Ive performed for this entity and I vow to continue working with everyone to strengthen the integrity of our city and countys democratic process. And finally, Id like to thank State Rep. Dr. Valdenia Winn for being a great educator, teaching me, and showing me everything it took to be a great student. Your guidance provided a vision that helped mold me into the man I am today.
