Committee On Resuscitation Of Schools In Borno state Launches Free Feeding in All Pilot Schools in MMC and Jere, Strategizing On Bringing Qualified Teachers The Committee on Resuscitation of Primary and Junior Secondary School in Borno State had on Wednesday launched free feeding and uniform to pupils of some selected pilot schools in MMC and Jere Local Government Areas. The Chairman of the Committee Dr. Mohammed El-Nur Dongel who led other members of the committee for the launching and inspection visit to some selected schools expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment of all stakeholders and called on them maintain the tempo. However, the Chairman expressed worries over the low quality of teachers in most of the schools as about 60 percent of the teachers are unqualified and he further said the committee is planning on how to bring-in quality teachers in order to improve the quality of the pupils. The Schools visited were Lamisula, Gwange 1, Maimusari and Yerwa Practicing Primary and Junior Secondary Schools.
