Common Core computer adaptive tests for children are dangerous. The assessment tests that your kids will be given will be computer adaptive. According to Dr. Peg Luksik, this means that it will be adaptive as they take the test (i.e., the test can be made easier or harder as they go along and you as a parent, will never know how it was manipulated). Those pushing Common Core standards want conformity and the assessment tests will test or assess (among other things) attitudes, behaviors and beliefs. Dr. Luksik explains how in this 6 minute video.
