Common Core draft reports show an outlook to hopeful technology - TopicsExpress

Common Core draft reports show an outlook to hopeful technology which will allow tracking of stress-inducing material, eye-scanning machines, and more. How much information does the federal government need about our children? Who will the information be shared with? What other agencies? How will this information be used in the future? The stated eventual plan for Common Core is to follow from birth to career our children. How much does the government need to know about your newborn? Dont you want to be in charge of environmental and care decisions for your child? This mom is focusing on the educational process of the curriculum, but the concerning issues go much deeper, are much farther-reaching. Our state signed on to Common Core sight-unseen to receive federal grant money. The material hadnt even been drafted! All to get a grant of federal funds (thats our tax dollars). So... We are paying for the privilege of handing over control of our childrens education to the federal government -- decisions which should be made by the STATES. Opting into Common Core is like signing a blank check, with our childrens futures as payment. /rant
