Common Hawk Cuckoo (brainfever bird) - BR Hills ======================================== BR Hills (BRT Tiger Reserve) is one of my favourite destinations for bird photography. The road travels down the hill and we can get excellent eye level shots of birds on the trees in the valley. Photographing from the vehicle is the best way to do bird photography when you are on your own. The other image shows how I shot this with the setup in my Tata Safari SUV. That morning I missed the safari and took a different route to photograph the birds....and folks on the safari saw 2 Tigers...no regrets... I have been traveling to BRT for more than 17 years and am yet to see my 1st Tiger there... Canon 1D Mark IV + Canon EF 800mm f5.6 L IS + 1.4x III Converter, ISO 1250, f8 @ 1/320, Evaluative Metering -1 Stop, WB at 5200K. Feel free to share.
