Commonly confused: the German Shepherd Dog, and the Belgian - TopicsExpress

Commonly confused: the German Shepherd Dog, and the Belgian Malinois, two of the worlds most well-known working breeds. Belgian Malinois are smaller than German Shepherds on average, and typically (but not always) feature a light brown coat with a very distinct black mask. They can also be blue, black, or sable. Pictured is a six month old Belgian Malinois puppy named Axel, turned into a German Shepherd rescue because of his high energy. He has since been rehomed with a trainer, where his boundless energy is put to use everyday! Has anyone ever mistaken your Shepherd for a Maligator?
