Commonwealth Baton coming to Dingwall on Friday 11 July. Our event will take a similar format to Fusion where young people will be able to try a range of activities free of charge. So far we have the following confirmed: • Archery (Boots n Paddles) • Bubble Football (Finn Annand) • Legacy Art Project (Youth Highland) • Smoothie Bike • Face Painting (Youth Forum) • Football (Ross County Community Coaches) • Obstacle Course (Shona MacInnes) • Commonwealth Cake Decorating • Fun Games (Youth Forum) As well as the above, the Active Schools’ programme includes; hockey, rugby, Frisbee, shinty, netball, dance, gymnastics display, athletics, climbing wall. So with all this on offer there SHOULD be something for everyone! . It is 2-5pm not 2-10pm as stated in the brochure. The ‘official’ Baton celebrations at Jubilee Park (by Ross County) will go on into the evening just in case you want to stay through and join in.
