Commonwealth games begin tonight at Glasgow: July 23 to Aug 3 In 2010, when the games were held in Delhi, India came 2nd with a gargantuan 101 medals in total: 39 Gold, 26 Silver, 36 Bronze. We finished 2nd, behind Australia. That was our best ever finish in the history of CWG games! This time around, there are going to be 224 athletes, participating across 14 sporting disciples. They will win enough medals to make the country proud with medal hopefuls spread across shooting, badminton, boxing, weightlifting, hockey & squash.
