Description of Tasks •Create an archive of the photos and success stories currently available within m2m Kenya •Assist with producing a quarterly internal newsletter and a tentative external newsletter •Compile photos and short descriptions that can be used on m2m’s social media as well and shared with donor/partner organizations •Provide support in coordinating and documenting various m2m activities •Help further develop and maintain a detailed media contact list •Monitor the media regarding issues of HIV, maternal/child healthcare •Provide other forms of appropriate communications support at the request of the Communications Coordinator Competencies Required •Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, journalism or a related field (preference given to recent first degree graduates and current 4th year university students requiring an attachment) •Ability to produce a range of communications materials - eg success stories, brochures, briefs for digital and print use •Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills •Fluency in English and Kiswahili •High level of computer literacy (MS Office) – graphic design experience will be an added advantage •Dynamism, creativity and flexibility •Sensitivity to confidentiality matters regarding written and pictorial materials •Enthusiasm to work on behalf of m2m’s mother and infant clients To Apply: •Interested applicants should submit their Curriculum Vitae and covering letter to the mothers2mothers Human Resource Department via email to [email protected] or to info@naisulalesuuda-peacefoundation and will forward your application.
