Based in the historic Little Tokyo neighborhood, it has a nation-wide focus and international base of support. Requires broad understanding of development and marketing communications with promotional strategies across multiple applications. Works with team to develop concepts and write copy for a wide variety of marketing and development initiatives that deliver on strategy and are appropriate by audience and applications. Bachelors degree Journalism, Communications or English and minimum 5 years customer-focused experience in creative services position, preferably including prior employment w/non-profit, museum, ad agency or corporate marketing organization. Background in direct-to-consumer marketing. Strong relationship management skills. Knowledge of JA History and culture a plus. Advanced MS word skills. $ DOE. PT up to 25 hrs/wk.
