Community Announcement: 2005 Cat colony on South Catherine - TopicsExpress

Community Announcement: 2005 Cat colony on South Catherine Street, City of Plattsburgh is doing very well thanks to Phillip St. Louis & Lillian Cassidy. We could have not spayed/neutered 22 cats on this street without their help!! Now they have a warm shelter area & are doing well. No more kittens this Spring. We think there are two cats we could not trap but will start Trap-Neuter-Return in the Spring. We hope someday in the future the City & Town Officials will step up and assist us in these efforts to control the over population of feral & stray cats, until then we have been doing private rescue & will continue to help as long as we can!! We use several Veterinary Clinics, Palmers (518) 561-1893, Adirondack Mobile Clinic (518) 314-1813 & Red Fern Mobile Clinic (518) 645-0178. Anyone wanting to help sponsor, please contact a clinic above or call Victoria at (518) 645-4064. Always get a receipt for your records, this way you know what the money is being used for. Supplies like dry cat food, humane live traps, carriers, blankets, soft canned food, flea meds are always needed & can be dropped off at 26 Westwood Drive, Plattsburgh, New York 12901. We appreciate the individuals who have helped us save so many homeless kitties. Now with the Humane Society closed, there will be many animals that have no where to go.. Please be responsible & spay/neuter your pet, do not abandon your pet outdoors!!!
