Community Blast: Ophir Days Celebration WHEN Saturday, September 14, 2013, 10am – 3pm WHERE Ophir Fire Hall & Grange 32888 Nesika Road Gold Beach, OR 97444 NOTE Everyone is invited... whether you live in Ophir or not. Ophir Days Celebration in Nesika Beach sponsored by Ophir Fire Department and Rogue Grange & Community Center. The day starts with a parade at 10:30am on Nesika Road from the Fire Hall to the Grange Hall. Ophir Fire Department will have an Open House from 10:30am-2pm including: *Burgers and Bratwurst (from Honey Bear/Black Forest Kitchens) from 11am-2pm. $5.00 each. * C & S Fire Safe to teach about Fire Extinguisher safety and examine your extinguisher to be sure it is in proper working order. * Coos Forest Patrol will have information on keeping your property safe from wild fire and information. * Info on Tsunami Preparedness. * Goodies for the kids. * Rogue Grange will be selling desserts. Rogue Grange & Community Center will have: * Flea market, plant sale, mini antique & craft sale from 11am-3pm * Live music * Demonstrations by Jazzercise, Italian Folk Dancers and Companion/search & rescue dogs * Raffle for several gift baskets each valued at $50 or more The event is raising funds to help support the Fire Department and the Community Center, promoting Ophir community spirit, and bringing people together to have fun!
