Community-Campus Partnerships for Health Announces Next Executive Director Managers Choice The Board of Directors of Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (CCPH) is pleased to announce that Al Richmond will become CCPH’s next Executive Director, effective Sept 1, 2014. A nationally recognized leader in community-based public health and community-institutional partnerships, Richmond understands the collaborative approaches needed to achieve health equity and the supports needed for their success. In making the announcement, CCPH Board Chair Ann-Gel Palermo noted, “Over the past seventeen years, CCPH has become a leading source of inspiration, information, professional development and advocacy for promoting health through authentic, equitable and transformative community-academic partnerships. As we look ahead to our third decade of leadership in the field, we sought an executive director with an entrepreneurial vision who defines health broadly; is passionate about partnerships as a strategy for social justice; and works and communicates effectively across diverse communities, disciplines, professions, and sectors. We are delighted to announce today that we have found these and more in Al Richmond.” The announcement concludes an extensive 6-month search process led by the board that began when founding CCPH Executive Director Sarena D.
