Community Flu Vaccine Event Oct. 9 at LRMC A community flu vaccine event will be held from from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Heaton Auditorium at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Available vaccines will include the intranasal Flumist for healthy beneficiaries between the ages of 2 and 49, and multiple formulations of the injectable vaccine for those with certain medical conditions and those less than 2 years and older than 49 years. However, those who are allergic to eggs will be not be able to receive their vaccine at a community event. To receive their vaccine, they should see their Primary Care Provider. Children must be 3 or older) * Oct. 30 from 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the American Red Cross “Zombie Apocalypse” in the Heaton Auditorium at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center The flu season in Europe routinely continues through April with the greatest number of cases occurring in January, according to U.S. Army Public Health Command – Europe.
