Community: Police investigating early morning robbery at What-a-Burger, 3401 S. Coulter...no injuries or arrests... On Monday morning, 9-8-14, at about 4:15 AM, a subject walked into the What-a-Burger at 3401 S. Coulter. The subject was described as a black male wearing dark coveralls and a dark hooded shirt or jacket. He was wearing gloves and a light colored mask similar to an old hockey mask. He was armed with a pistol. He forced the two employees to the office area and had them open the safe. He took an undetermined amount of cash. He left through the north doors and may have gone east on foot. No one was injured in this incident. This is still being investigated at the time of this release. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
