Community Service Day September 28, 7:45 AM-12:30 PM @ Recreation Center Lend a helping hand at the annual Community Service Day on Saturday, September 28th. This year’s community service day project will be beautifying the East Grand Avenue entranceway into Laramie. Volunteers will meet at the Recreation Center at 7:45am for breakfast and work assignments. After the work concludes, a free lunch will be offered to all volunteers at 11:30 am on the west end of UW Fraternity Mall. All volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, hats, sunscreen, appropriate footwear, garden rakes and shovels. The Laramie Beautification Committee and the City of Laramie would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the University of Wyoming for co-sponsoring Community Service Day and for encouraging UW students, faculty and staff to volunteer their efforts at the event.
