Community and Friends, For those of you who knew Leah Sams Webb, a fund has been started during the July Baxter Homemade Ice Cream sales. The City has given permission for a location in the Katy Park, where a concrete pad, bench, and landscaping will be placed in Leahs memory. See further information by clicking on the pictures here. If you knew Leah as family and friend, please consider donating money for the completion of this project. The City Office (118 West MacKinzie Street, White City Kansas 66872) will take donations and we would like to open the opportunity of donations from the public through October 15th. The completion will include costs for the bench (purchased and ready to install), concrete pad, plaque with writing on it similar to Ruth Ann Railsbacks plaque, and landscaping. We are having local professionals give us a bid for the pad, the setting of the bench, and the plaque.
