Community council rules have been published: 1. The minimum age requirement will be twenty-one (21) years of age. 2. Willing to sign an NDA (which will be necessary if the council is informed about some of the things in development prior to public release). 3. Have a proven record of being helpful to the community and being knowledgeable about the game. 4. Have a game account which has been active for at least 90 days and is actively used to play the game. 5. A candidate must have the same nickname for a duration of 30 days before the election and - if elected - is not allowed to change his nickname during his term. 6. Being constructive in all previous community involvement whilst not having a history of punishments or bad behaviour. 7. Anyone who has previously signed an NDA with Gaijin, including employees and volunteers current and past, interns, family members of Gaijin employees, as well as other gaming company employees, affiliates and partners, are ineligible for a place in the WTPC. 8. Council members cannot be chosen for two consecutive terms. 9. Candidates must provide proof of identity to Gaijin including their real names in the form of a valid passport or ID card. Rules number 6 and 7 virtually leave every name that was being voted in last weeks polls out of scope. Including myself. Rule 4 also prevents me getting there but also quite some other names of great people who would be amazing assets and quitted this game because of its sorry state. Ill be optimistic here and think that Gaijin really wants this to work...but this rules just leave out every name the community wanted to the spot. Not a good start. Ill prolly be doing a podcast about it giving my thoughts in detail.
