Community leaders, organizations and political representatives have been meeting and discussing the formation of a coalition and community alliance that can begin to negotiate and broker community benefits. This broad-based community effort will determine what our overall needs are in areas of: community and economic development, business development, housing, commercial development and workforce development and training. The Homewood development Coalition will be having community meetings and discusses to capturing our collective needs as a community. The meeting will be posted in different media outlets including homewood urban affairs Web page and site which is currently under construction.
