Community members living within Topanga Division have established numerous neighbor watch groups that use Facebook and other forms of communication as a means of alerting each other to community concerns. We are now taking this form of communication to the next level with the introduction of NextDoor. The NextDoor social network is already being used by numerous community watch groups and I would like to establish this as my primary means of communication. As you will see when you create an account, there are a number of watch groups already established in your area. I will continue communicating on Facebook, but would ask community members to switch over to this social network. Nextdoor has been adapted to create a secure network that verifies information of residents prior to becoming members, easy access to identify/communicate with other neighborhood watch groups and a great tool for communities to work together to prevent crime. I am looking forward to meeting and communicating with everyone on Nextdoor in the near future! https://nextdoor
