Community notice from the Center for Civil and Human Rights New Exhibitions! Monday, September 15, 2014 10:00 PM - 5:00 PM (last admittance at 4:00 pm) - “Nonviolence and Peace-making During the Civil Rights Movement”, Voice to the Voiceless Gallery - Part II of the Benny Andrews John Lewis Series The Voice to the Voiceless: Morehouse College Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection will re-open to the public for part two of the inaugural year exhibition. The exhibition will include the handwritten basic principles of Dr. Kings nonviolence philosophy; as well as the original Martin Luther King and The Montgomery Story comic book, the only comic book created through the lens of Dr. King. Also reopening on Monday, September 15th, is part two of the Benny Andrews John Lewis Series. The series celebrates the life of the United States Congressman and civil rights icon. These exhibition spaces will rotate approximately three times per year.
