NESSIA CEBU CITY, Sept. 13 (PIA) --- Companies are urged to donate protective gear for personnel who are cleaning up the oil slick in affected coastal areas in the province. Rechele Ybanez, environmental education and information coordinator of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-7), said the cleanup crew composed of members of the Coast Guard and the Philippine National Police (PNP) urgently need protective equipment, particularly masks with filter, to protect them from the hazardous oil spill fumes.
