Company Accountant - Chipping Norton Our group of companies incorporates a Fashion Import & Distribution Co, Online Fashion Retailer & IT software company located in south western Sydney that is growing at a rapid pace year on year. We are seeking an enthusiastic go getter, who is looking for a career progression to Company Accountant. Reporting to an entrepreneurial CEO you will be exposed to all facets of business and is an ideal learning ground for any accountant looking for a more varied and interesting role with commercial exposure. Responsibilities include: •Day to day running of the accounts & administration function including the management of a Credit Controller who reports into this position. •Ensuring KPIs of staff are met and mentoring when required •End to end payroll function •All bookkeeping requirements to trial balance •Production of sales agent commissions monthly •End of month/year including reconciliation of the general ledger •Completion of BAS monthly •Maintenance of the Debtor Factoring function •Dealing with foreign exchange •Liaising with overseas suppliers •Stock receipting & control •Overseeing the Accounts Receivable function & liaising with Solicitors when required. •Bank Reconciliations & all intercompany transactions •Liaising with external tax accountant To be successful you would need a minimum of 7 years experience, good interpersonal skill and be able to thrive under pressure.
