The selected candidate will be required to work safely and maintain a safe work environment for themselves and others. This individual must have a good understanding of the mechanics of working machinery, be able to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and facilities. Instrumentation and PLC experience highly preferred. The successful candidate will be working on complex industrial equipment in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This position will involve working shift work and overseeing the operation of process boilers. Ideal candidate has experience in the papermaking industry. Qualifications: Electrical Safety, Basic Electrical Skills, Instrumentation Troubleshooting, Piping, Bearings Mounting and Lubrication, Welding, Basic Machine Shop, Alignment Couplings and Sheaves and Lifting and Rigging. Additional training beneficial: Advanced Electricity, Blueprint Reading, and Hydraulics/Pneumatics. Experience: Maintenance capacity within a production environment (5 years). Knowledge in computer maintenance management systems: TPM, Maintenance Management Software Programs, and Preventative Maintenance beneficial. Education: HS diploma or GED Compensation for this position is $19.34 to $22.82 per hour, depending upon experience; includes a competitive benefit package.
