Compare Irish slaves with African slaves that came to America. Both came here unwillingly. Why is it that you dont hear the Irish continue to ask for reparations? Why dont you hear the Irish talk about how horrible and racist America is? Why? Because the Irish assimilated into the country and recognized how great America is and the opportunities it offers. The Irish became Americans. They taught their children that if you work hard enough, you can become something in America.
