Compassion should be constant and not seasonal. Many show - TopicsExpress

Compassion should be constant and not seasonal. Many show compasssion because they are forced to do it. Others show it out of competition because their friends demonstrate it. And still a bunch of people show it because they are in abundance. There are people who are compassionate only when terrible disaster or misfortune hits their friends and fellowmen. Authentic compassion springs out of the heart that is permeated by the love of Jesus. Once compassion is genuine, it is always available, it is not making alibis, it does not act because of jealousy but rather move with spontaneity. It does not stay at home even if he is in scarcity but rather goes out and reaches out to his needy friend or neighbor, connects to his despairing fellowmen, interfaces with the hopeless, moves out to save the perishing, walks out to help the helpless, sympathizes with the victims of injustice, feeds the hungry, comforts the orphans, consoles the widows, prays for the sick, sees the rejected, shares the love of Jesus to sinners and to those in prisons, congregates with the sorrowful and meets the homeless, Be compassionate to others even if you are the poorest in the whole world. Do it more if you are a rich person for God will require so much from you when you face Him to give an account someday. Spread love and compassion anytime and anywhere. When love and compassion is shown, the unreachable becomes reachable, the unattainable becomes attainable and the impossible becomes possible, The rich without compassion is considered worthless and dung by God above, who sees everything that happens under the sun. But blessed is the man or woman (whether he/she is rich or poor, who possesses the love of Jesus in his/her heart), who is truly compassionate to his/her fellow human beings for he is a genuine child of God and will receive a warm welcome from God into His eternal and blissful KIngdom.
