Compassionate Friends meeting last night .. We had a new young Mom who came with her g/mother and her mom ... so vulnerable, so naïve as to what she faces now and in the future with the loss of a child, but we were all in her place at one time. We as CF have all walked through that door but I know for me, immediately felt the warmth and presence of those CF who were there already and I have learned so much from them. I think Terri Kelly said it best when she said I love hearing from all who show up as you all offer great wisdom to our journey. Maybe we have passed that point each of you bring or maybe it is yet to come. Either way, the seeds have been planted and can grow if needed now or in the future. I see and hear the love and compassion in all of you. I am happy to call you all family and family we are ... we come together to share our ups and downs, our fears, our accomplishments through this grief journey. We cry with each other, we laugh with each other. We are never too seasoned to learn from others, whether that be that new Mom or someone in their journey for 5, 10 or even 15 years. We walk though our life now learning and growing in this journey called grief. Its what you learn after you know it all that counts
