Compassionate People! Discover the Joy of being a Hospice Volunteer! If you have a warm heart and a listening ear, you can make a difference in the lives of hospice patients and their families! Visiting Nurse Association of Englewood Hospice invites you to join our comprehensive training to learn about the hospice philosophy and the many ways to contribute to a mission of caring and compassion. Trainings will be led by members of the VNA of Englewood Hospice team on the following evenings: Tuesday June 18, Thursday June 20, Tuesday June 25 and Thursday June 27, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm each night. Trainees must attend all 4 sessions to be most prepared for hospice volunteer work. While the training is conducted at our office at 15 Engle Street, Suite 301, Englewood, NJ, home visitation assignments are available throughout Bergen County. A light dinner will be provided each night of the training. There are numerous rewards and opportunities available to hospice volunteers though home visitation, administrative support and special projects.
