Complex. in Arabic its called 3u8dah ( Uqdah) Now i dont usually do this but uh, im feeling fiery today so ill fire away. Im the type of young woman that, over a period of time have learnt my lessons to keep my emotions to myself and not complain. but today is one of those days. So Complex, yes. Topic of today. So me personally, ive witnessed many in my society that have had complexes in many different ways, and personally, ive experienced it too. Now im not saying every family member criticizes one an other on how fat or thin you are, light or dark you are, how frizzy or curly your hair is, what im saying is, it happens around here. Now standard of beauty in many asian countries, India, Arabia, Far east, is about being as light skinned as you can and having straight silky hair. Thats just their standard of beauty..(for most at least). You cant change old thinking. but what you can do is choose not to support such ridiculous perspectives. Unless you want to raise a generation of low self-esteemed kids, we will have a weak and insecure society. and insecurity aint attractive. Nor is criticizing others. So,that leaves me to say, personally as someone who has a complex, i realized I moulded out to be a defensive, Fiery aggressive sensitive person. (when it comes to these issues only though lol) But everytime i face criticism instead of being insecure, i actually, smile and disagree with them diplomatically and I carry on Doinig Me Boo!
