Comrade Gibson W Jerue, I just cant fathom why you are so bent on proving Mamadee Diakite wrong via rhetoric and sophistry when the best, easiest and safest thing to do is let Senator-elect Weahs stellar performances as a senator prove Mamadee Diakite wrong. At best, if the Senator-elect was still campaigning to be a senator then your defense could be appropriate. At worst, if you were a spokesperson for Weah then your quest to prove Mamadee Diakite wrong could be understandable. My dear brother, we are supposed to be practicing democrats who ought be tolerant of the views of others. Mamadee Diakite losing his job at TruthFm for his opposition to Weah being elected as a senator makes it right and justifiable for him to let the public know the reasons for his opposition to Weah as a senator. We should listen to him, accept, reject or keep his points for future reference but the uncalled for attacks on the brother is despicable. Let me extend to you the advice I gave my own big brother Isaac Vah Tukpah. They say “No matter how fast a lie is, the truth will catch up with her.” Since, soon and very soon all your claims about the competency, consistency and leadership skills of Senator-elected Weah will begin speaking for themselves, I hope you are cognizant that you are unnecessarily gambling your high earned reputation. After all your experiences with the typical Liberian politicians, of which the Senator-elect Weah has not proven not to be, it is highly likely that you are perfectly setting yourself up for the eating of humble pies from the hands of Mamadee Diakite. If I were Mamadee Diakite, my only response to your challenge for a debate would be telling you to keep your debate points to yourself and bring them out a year from now when the proofs of the Mamadees claims and your counter claims will be exhibited in performances of the Weah as a senator for a year
