I perceive danger, I see war or masive violence that will claim lives falling on Nigeria after february elections except by divine intervention. The hatred is satanic, the desperation is evil. The agenda is unclear and the handwriting is bold on the wall for all to read. Ordinarilly, there shouldnt be cause for alarm, afterall is election for God sake; but the manner in Which our political desperados at the federal center are conducting themselves calls for worries. The attitude of these political class who ought to be our national role model is an issue that disturbs the mind. They are ready to kill, cause mayhem, scatter and jet out at the detriment of the ordinary Nigerian. There are somany pointer to this fact and one among many is the issue of credential verification of Buhari. It is quite sad, the way Nigeria is being dragged into war on daily basis due to selfish interest of few at the helm of affairs. Im persuaded to challenge the antics of those who are making Buhari credential issue a global one considering the fact that, Buhari was not just a head of state in Nigeria, but has since after then contested several elections in which he lost. For emphasis sake, he contested in 2003, 2007 and 2011. If the above records are correct, then Im left to ask, if certificate is so a compulsary phenomena in our electoral process, could he have contested trice in a democratic election without meeting such requirements? I believe that, for him to have vied for such exalted position before now, he must have been credentially screened by appropriate bodies to acertain his eligibility to contest in the elections, and he was found qualified, so why the heck now? Recently in a bid to counter Buharis claims that his credentials are with the military, the military command has said his documents are not with them rather that they only have the photocopies of his credentials. What is the difference between photocopies of credentials and the credentials it self? For the fact that photocopies of his credentials are with with the military authority is a pointer to the fact that Buhari has credentials. I think, that if those photocopies are not sufficient enough as evidence to qualify him, Buhari should honourably be requested to submit his original copies and that should end the unjustified show of shame making in the rounds all in the name of documents. Similarly, on Buharis part, what stops him from producing the certificate if that is the issue just to save himself and the nation this unwarranted certificate matter? Did fire ravage the certificates or something? On the part of the government again, why this debate now? Is there something they need to tell Nigerians? Is there something they have suddenly discovered about Buharis credentials that needs to be made public? Please, Nigerians need answers. Enough of heating the polity. The looming war we are gradually being dragged into must seize henceforth with. I have demonstrated this opinion before and I will do that again and again, no single Nigerian deserves uneccessary torment. Fairness, equity and social justice should be the right of every Nigerian no matter party, religion or ethnicity. Let me call on those elements who are hiding under this government to fan the ember of enemity and division to please hands off , so that we can have a hitch free general election come 2015 without cause for war because any attempt to cause war will be gravely dangerous and we all may not leave to tell the story. A word is enough for the wise.
