Comrades, it is not about income inequality! Dont believe the hype! It about the intensification of class exploitation and domination against the labouring classes (the true producers of wealth in society). But if we frame it as the class struggle, which the ruling-class is winning at the moment, we would be unduly bringing the foul and disagreeable idea of class hatred into predominantly middle-class North America. As a certified court jester, it is my duty to inform those of us at court that North America has a strong working-class majority. We use terms such as poverty, the poor or the underclass as a stand-in for our interrogation of class inequality. We love to talk about classism or the corporate sector but not capitalism, which is the producer of class relations or economic and social oppression. Why are we so afraid to enter into a dialogue about class, class struggle or capitalism? After all, we are no longer living in the atmosphere of the Cold War. Yao Lloyd D.
