Concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere between 2012 - TopicsExpress

Concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere between 2012 and 2013 grew at their fastest rate since 1984. That`s because as a result of the fracking frenzy across America, which resulted in a huge spike in Methane emissions, coal prices went right down resulting in massive exports to places like Europe and India. Even the UK increased the burning of this cheaper coal to feed power stations. At the same time, the big 6 increased prices to the consumer saying it was as a result of increased prices of gas imports. Combine the CO2 and CH4 emissions that severely impact on the World`s climate with the health impacts posed by the burning of coal, the fossil fuel industry is ultimately responsible for the deaths and poor health of millions of people every year. In a sense, we are all aiding and abetting these crimes against humanity.
