Concept of dead space in competition shooting. Its when youre not engaging any targets except burning up time. Obvious examples are huge transitions, longer runs or waiting for a moving target. Other not so obvious are during recoil and during those coming into a positions (how fast you get settled to break an accurate shot). This stage shows really small and really big dead spaces, key is to be efficient on the small ones and attack while being smooth on the approach on the big ones.
