It appears frustrating to admin and founders; That ,of close to 6,000 Members; To get 6 active IRT is a challenge, or impossibility. Everyone should: be out there doing community work, attending Mind-retraining at Fairmont 101, donating to Main Street Fairmont, and extolling the Virtue of Our New Rulers/ The Citys Business end Home Rule By the very name requires a Party to rule Thus; Ruler...) or somnolently giving praise for the work being done or considered.. To a Degree there is some truth to the Inactivity observation.. It is also Observable here: 1647 Members.. and doubt we could Rally enough for a bowling team from the calling to arms on any given issue. So why This reluctance to activate and move this community forward by and through these 2 FB Pages.> Warning-- If You Idea/Notion of an intelligent response is: Fer Sure, Talk to the Hand ROFL, Huh..or anything less than 4 syllables total sentence content.. Because, ( I will add myself to this group.. though I still crawl around...literally.. to get places and do things, but am growing weary of inaccessibility and barriers added to the disability and mobility impairments- I have) In The Numbers, of Both groups.. There are Probably 10-20% of members who are disabled and Our access to community and projects, is mostly limited to our Participation in What we believed to be a Community action/discussion group. Given this fact: ( we will use the lower and be optimists 10%- cannot do anything more Than read and Post- Do Not expect to see US - IRT for activities or actions- WFNI - 600 Members.. Here 167.5- members 2.) Because This is Facebook.. Not a Vehicle for driving Business actions and Goals of conversion ( Meaning That: In Digital Media Marketing Likes do not Mean Dollars in Your register) In fact, If You are a business owner.. Do Not expect Facebook Likes to me any additional business..You Had Probably better, Track a different Metric.. or else You will not be able to find any new Business-- Facebook is social media and blasting Your sale or special on social pages is an Industry No-No..It annoys people and even without their own personal knowledge they develop Border Blindness and look at you salesy and The Brain Immediately Ignores it. But enough said.. Given the fact That THIS is Facebook, and an astronomical Number of: Group members, Likes, are Not Interested in doing anything more; Than Joining, ( maybe reading some) and Hitting a Like Button.. and resuming the search for a Mate or Playing Keno..That % is as High as 80%-- Rarely lower Than 65% for Non-Activity of members.. We will use 80% will never take another act on either WFNI or FCCC So.. Gone are 4,000 ( of the remaining Non disabled) for WFNI, ...and about 900 More here at FCCC Pause to tally available Potentially active members WFNI is Down to a Nice round 1,000 and FCCC=maybe 400 That is simply the Objective data as to why No activity.. It is arguable.. But By all appearance is actually a working model.. That is in effect- 3.) About 60% of the WFNI Posts are made By Less Than 30 Members, and Their content begs No action-- They are simply Notices.. Here Perhaps 15 People post regular with Up to 30 Posting when a CCor C arises.. 50% of the posts are one of the cs and we have no idea what the conversion or action rate on some of those CTAs are.. Nor would WFNI have Much data on CTAs save for personal Observation. So Back to member numbers WFNI loses 60% or 600 More members.. Now Down to Potentially 400 Possible active members, and This group ( well The math gets a bit advanced..and By This Point It makes No sense to Track Members.. since the actions may have already been taken or the question answered. WFNI is working with a group of 400 Possible active members 4.) There are dominant Personalities in the group and a very narrow line to walk.. Generally, almost ALL Posts By certain members are simply More praise for the City Official, and management.. Given That Fairmont approval rate and citizen trust in government is about 10%- Maybe 16% on a good day.. So, They speak to and encourage 10% of 400 or 40 people That remain.. The Others simply get PO, at being talked down, or end up here... Thus The proportional growth of this group to the reduction of members in that group ( There are of course Members who are in Both groups..) Watch The Numbers.. They are rather Interesting.. But we all want me to end this thing.. ( i am doing this on the fly too, Unlike Mr Stalnaker who is using quantum mathematics-- before he posts.. I am simply spitballing.. WFNI Has 40 Members who can or would possibly do anything other Than Post on WFNI.. But, Rather, Than Treat Them with equal respect and care.. ( Other members opinion.. Not mine-- I read their Negative comments I do not fear them..) .. 40..! 40! People who can or would be able to do anything WFNI asks them to do. Probably, 10% of us have been branded; Negative Members.. and I offer That some of the remaining 90% ( 36 members) are so Pro Fairmont Government. That. If the City Pumped Radioactive Green Glowing sludge into the Mon...They would Have us Praise the New water attraction That Glows at Night... and If any of Musters the courage to post and be Deemed the Negative member with a Big scarlet red X on our posts..and Mentions The Fact: That Our Offspring Now Have 3 eyes.. There at least 12 members who will ( Not in any negative way ..Complain about the Truly negative Members Negative Post about their 3-eyed children) and In the Most Positive way.. Lambaste That negative member.. by stating.. What is wrong with You?.. Fairmont is Now Visible... By both space and aircraft, at Night, as they pass over us! sheesh some people Just cannot see the good So, By My extrapolation Activity is right where it should be.. But Nowhere on WFNI, From No member..at any time..No Candidate.. for No Office save for the : Negative Me... Points Out we are about to Change ( Our- a dream) the States Constitution for the Boy Scouts Of America! Doubt It-- Read the Jumbled Garble on the last page of Your Pink sample Ballot.. and You are supposed to VOTE on this.. What Fairmont needs is.. --- What Fairmont already has.. or so I keep being told. If i wanted The Citys PR Team I would Buy a Newspaper copy of the TWV.. Not Join a group. If You Made it this far.. No doubt You Have wasted 5 minutes of your time.. I hope You post Your thoughts..This Is why I think so many are Inactive and 19% of our voters turn out.. Manchin has been concealing this from all voters ( according to that areas newspaper since It was first Brought up.. Much Like Thew New Tax was concealed In Government closer to the People Bullshit...we have all been fed about Home Rule That we Now have.. Seems The People Would Not Vote a raise in Taxes for themselves.. But What do I Know? maybe You all would?
