Concerning Elijah in the cave while on the run for his life : In the amazing events that happened that day , did not find the Lord in any of them or the comfort and reassurance that he sought. Where was his Lord? God , who is faithful and not slack concerning His promises spoke to Elijah in a small still voice, a voice without panic or urgency that brought soothing and comfort of support to the soul of Elijah. It was then that Elijah realized that he was never alone , he was just looking in all the wrong places and events ,something that was there all the time . He is not something that we see with our eyes and can be sought out in such a manner but something that we feel in our hearts. Though our eyes deceive us and tell us that we are alone, the Spirit in our hearts knows that He is there for our help and comfort. Lower your expectations of how you think and look to the smallest details for whom He is. That is all . Peace out.
