Concerning, I. When we speak to people close to us, friends, family or new acquaintances, and come across the writing process of I, they seem to be surprised of the amount of time we put in to this album. As much as we consider this a true landmark in this bands legacy, we decided to consider the release of a debut album as an opportunity to take on the challenges and demands that applies to any artists clear about their heading and goals. The songs presented on I are not a handful of musical pieces that we aimlessly put together on a ten-track album in order to later on sharing it on social medias and hoping for the best. Every note, every beat and every single word has been thought over, broken down and thereafter approved or dismissed. And why? For about four and half years ago, Imminence formed as a musical project and has since 2012 consisted of the same members. For each and every one of us, the same vision of sharing our music with people all over the world and successfully making this the career of our lives has been the uttermost purpose and unyielding task of each and every day passing by. With the opportunity to truly divulge our burning devotion to this quest that were heading on, we decided to lay aside all of our outside distractions and dive head-first to chase this dream that we would not let go for anything. Not for anything. The process of the whole concept of I has meant putting our musical skill and physical as well as mental endurance to the outer limit. It has taken a great deal of conviction and determination to level the negative thoughts and concerns on ourselves and our abilities in order to make clear our way on to taking hold of this dream and hence doing every single, possible thing that we can to really make this thing happen. With I, we dug deep in to ourselves for inspiration to create the songs on the album, and equally deep for the will to do the work necessary, and we came across something wonderful. A tremendous power that just rest in the hands of every artist thats trying to build something beautiful with the time given to him or her, whether youre in front of a large audience or down in your rehearsal space. From the very bottom of our hearts, we wish to thank everyone that has supported and endured us through this writing process. You are the ones that nourish this fire inside of us.
