Concerning Stop Common Core Twitter rally last Friday: Todays national twitter rally targeting Governor Pence was a huge success! Hundreds from all across the country tweeted directly to him all morning long, urging him to be the leader that Bobby Jindal is shoring up to be. This event was initiated by folks in TX and from around the country, who gathered in Dallas for the Americans For Prosperity American Dream Summit, where Pence was speaking. His attendance has been reported as yet another sign that he plans to run for President. This may be the first indication that Gov. Pence has gotten that, as he travels the country, he will have to answer to angry parents who know that Hoosiers #DeserveBetter than what we got on Common Core. I have been told that the entire front row was comprised of anti-Common Core warriors donning green, Stop Common Core T-shirts, some of whom spoke directly to the Governor about the issue. It is now painfully clear that IN pandered to the feds in pursuit of the waiver, by rebranding Common Core. Oklahoma did not.
