Concerning to the statement of my friend Mondol Nhoung: While i studied in Germany i studied also about some EU integration process and i knew Germany paid and is paying the money into the EU more other member Countries, because such paying is ratio in term of each Countries economic and Germany has a large economic in term of GDP or GNP then other EU members. What i knew, just before their election they made controversy relating to such burden of their people too, because they receive from the EU least then they paid. But they still play and stay in the EU like you said with respect of the sovereignity of other EU members, although some EU members are small Country and Germany is a large Country in term of Economic, Policy and Social as well the process of democracy. But in ASEAN like you said and i am teaching ASEAN economics at the University too, i seen like you too. The integration in ASEAN is only the process of economic intergration, not else or not like EU which to become like the word A Community, although ASEAN has also some economic intergration process to be favor for the small countries member like AISP. But this instrument did not be reasonable in term of their contents and willingness. Base on such process maybe the small Countries did or do not get in the real term any thing from this intergration without their own capabilities, and also they can get the net lost in this process, because they can not have enough competitivness. Otherwise if such case occured they stay out better then they stay in the integration. But to know the real advantage and disadvantage of this integration we can make a measurement on the result of this integration in which that we can calculate the percentage of increasing or decreasing our import and export value to or from other 9 Countries of ASEAN and vis-a-vis from year to year. Then we can compare our integration result in the region and get the result base on our own capabilty like mentioned above. Otherwise we play in this integration process like Germany, but maybe we are not German!!!!!!
