Conclusion: Narcissistic and borderline folks are usually the ones with a pretty shaky and unreal self-image...these people become defensive(yelling) because they fell backed into a corner...some people have really low self-esteem, and hearing another person say or point out bad (but true) things can cause them to go into auto-defensive, a very poor coping mechanism,to protect an already fragile ego...they usually are so screwed up that they can actually feel their existance and that of the world as a whole slipping away...people become defensive because they are afraid...plain and simple...
