Conclusive evidence Paul , who did not know Christ before he was crucified , suddenly became the greatest authority on what Christ had taught particularly within your circle of disciples . He must have found it . The apostles who were personally instructed by Christ for several years , had to acknowledge that his old nemesis , Paul , without consulting any of them knew all that Christ had taught them and even had insights safer than them. When Paul rebuked Peter for having wrong , this underwent correction ( Galatians 2:11-14 ) . I received from the Lord that which also I delivered unto you ... ( 1 Corinthians 11:23 ) , as he was starting his explanation to the Corinthian Church about what happened at the Last Supper and that Christ had taught his disciples on that occasion . Even though Paul was not present , he did not consult any of those who had been there . ... Not with flesh and blood , neither went I up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me ... ( Galatians 1:16-17 ) was the sure testimony of Paul. He has suddenly become the principal and most authoritative about what Christ had taught , apostle could only be explained by the fact that he was instructed by the risen Christ , just as he claimed . Without consulting any of those who had been disciples of Christ during his earthly ministry , Paul had become the leading authority in Christian doctrine , like all churches would have to recognize. He wrote most of the New Testament Epistles . Do you, however, to know , brothers , that the gospel I preached is not after man . Because I neither received nor learned of any man , but by the revelation of Jesus Christ ( Galatians 1:11-12 ) was the solemn testimony of Paul . No other explanation is not to have risen Christ and instructed Paul personally .
