Concuerdo que desde el neurólogo nos da el diagnóstico: “tienes esclerosis múltiple” la enfermedad se convierte en nuestra compañera para toda la vida ó por lo menos hasta que se descubra una cura que por el momento no existe y tengo que enfatizar que los avances están atascados debido a la crisis económica mundial, y en mi opinión los pacientes deben hacerse escuchar para que las esperanzas sucedan y no podemos descansar en las organizaciones Sin Fines de Lucro porque solo sirven para callar. Lo cierto es que empezamos a recorrer un camino escabroso, largo y tedioso donde coexisten situaciones y circunstancias a veces mejor llevadas que otras que nos quedan atragantadas, pero no debemos ceder nuestros derechos. Vivir ante la incertidumbre que genera la esclerosis múltiple es un hecho en sí mismo, que debemos de afrontar con cambios que interfieren directamente en nuestra forma y calidad de vida, incidiendo en decisiones, planes y proyectos al presentarse generalmente en una edad activa: entre los veinte y cuarenta años. ¿Cómo moverse ante una enfermedad cuyas reglas de juego se desconocen? Ante esta pregunta cada uno tiene respuestas distintas que son buenas compartirlas y los invito a que compartan sus experiencias. Yo me encuentro en los Estados Unidos y las reglas acá son diferentes. "I agree that from the moment that a neurologist diagnose: “you have Multiple Sclerosis" The condition turns into our partner for life or at least until a discovery is found but at the moment we do not have it and I must emphasize that the advances are stock or halted due to the Economic Crisis in the World and the Patients must be heard for the miracles to happen. We cannot rely on the Non Profit Organizations that only serve to quiet the Patients as at the USA. We start a challenging destiny, long and hard with situations and circumstances taken better with better attitudes that will leave us exhausted, but we cannot give our Rights. Living with the uncertainty of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) that generates is fact that we must face with changes that interfere directly with our style of life and quality of life, moving us to decisions, plans and projects at a young age of the twenty and forty years. How we can move on this Health Condition with no rules? This question all have different responses good to each but it will be good to share. Please share your experiences. I am at the USA and life is different.
