Conditions have improved overnight across the 15 county district. The number of icy conditions has decreased from 199 yesterday to 97 this morning. The counties still reporting ice on roadways are Coke, Glasscock, Menard, Sterling, Runnels and Tom Green. Many bridges, overpasses, curves and hills remain a concern and motorists should reduce their speed and use extreme caution while in these areas. Most communities within our district are reporting temperatures at or above freezing this morning. Fog is present along the IH 10 corridor from Junction to Ozona.
